Our areas of work

Four doors, one house.

A child can't learn if she's unwell. A mother can't send her to school without an income. We work across all four together, because that is how life in a village actually works.

Our story

Real change begins when communities lead.

sbsss began with a simple habit: sitting down and listening before doing anything. The first ideas didn't come from us. They came from a panchayat that wanted its girls to finish school, and from mothers who knew exactly what was stopping them.

We still work that way. Communities set the priorities, local people run the programs, and we stay only as long as we're needed. Success, for us, is the day a village no longer needs us at all.

“Together we create a better tomorrow.”
